Lennon

Imagine how the world, would look right now, if Lennon’s words came true, a better world for your loved ones, a better world for you.
Imagine if all the people, who believed and felt their power, imagined they could change this world, by the second, minute, hour.
Lennon believed we had this power, if the masses did unite. He saw the war and hunger, his songs became his fight.
This awakened fight in others, who also saw this truth. The prophet’s life cut short, his words and deeds, brought too much proof.
Proof that people heard, in the songs of one so famous. To let him carry on this work, lets just imagine. Far too dangerous.

Leonardo da Vinci

Artist, mathematician, inventor and writer.
Leonardo Da Vinci’s mind sparked like the flint in a lighter.
A Renaissance man with Italian blood,
so little he could not do and so much that he could.
Honing his God given talents in the Tuscany hills, his earlier life was one without any frills.
But so early on, his enormous talents were shown.
Combing science with art, this had never been known.
Vitruvian Man, the image you wear on this garment.
Was just one of the things his genius harnessed.
A mind like only a few in all history, it surely is safe to say.
He was drawing images of tanks and helicopters, back many a day.
Twas in the 1400’s if accuracy is to be right.
A mind so weighty and great, it makes others seem light.

John F Kennedy

JFK, if alive today, would be a man, for all other leaders, to portray.

He was forthright, honest and so very courageous. To the sinful souls, so very dangerous.

The sinful came in many guises, Politicians, Criminals and Corporate Kaisers.

All colluding, against a man so true, their sins against the people, he most definitely knew.

He knew the CIA was corrupted, the greed and wrongs of many, his decisions reduced and dangerously interrupted.

His final goal, was to stop them in their tracks, his awareness, filling their plans with cracks.

His greatness as a leader, was there, for all to see. If he had achieved his dreams, we would have all been free.

His dreams for us, were so big, he paid with his life. Murdered in cold blood, in front of his wife

—————————–

A dirty trench filled with despair, a squalid mess, with souls laid bare, how could a man, from either side, endure this
hell, no place to hide.

Tommy or Hun, it mattered not, these souls were offered up to rot.

Men sent mad, through fear and pain, while the top brass ordered, more land they gain.

A few yards here, a few yards there, each inch of mud, gained through despair.

While enlisted men, ate diets of rat, their Generals, in HQ got fat.

No rations here, for the chosen few, who quaffed their fayre, with a port or two.

As Christmas came, so cold and sad, there was at least a pact, to make men glad.

The Christmas Truce, 100 years ago, where soldiers met, in mud and snow.

Handshakes, gifts and football too, just the day before, the bullets flew.

These were men, so much the same, with children, wives, caught in a game.

A game of war, that had no winners, except of course, for political sinners.

Simply pawns, used in their name, a game of power, money, gain.

But when you look a man in the eye, you see his soul, it does not lie.

That’s what these soldiers could not have neglected, no enemy, just themselves reflected.

The enemy was nowhere around, they lived in mansions, castles, safe and sound.

The Christmas Truce, broke through illusion, but return to trenches, brought much confusion.

We kill eachother, men just the same, all to quench our masters gain.
